Shimmering Waters

Shimmering Waters offers a west facing view looking out to the Olympics and Double Bluff. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Our no bank beach house is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home sitting on Useless Bay in Maxwelton. It is a perfect set up for 2 couples, friends or a small family. In addition to the 2 queen beds, we have 2 twin mattresses that can be used for children.


Useless Bay is a shallow bay that attracts a wide variety of bird life including migratory birds. A kayaking paradise, when the light is right see into the water and view crab and a variety of fish; Osprey and Kingfishers, hovering and diving into Useless Bay. When the tide is out you have access to a beach walk with 2-3 miles of undeveloped shoreline, a true Whidbey getaway.


The home is located on a dead end, beachfront road and sits in several houses from the main street. Langley, with lots of great restaurants and shops, is just a 10 minute drive away.


Our brand new hot tub is up and running on the deck!!
