Located in the heart of Puget Sound in Washington, Whidbey Island is 25 miles north of Seattle, WA and 2 hours south of Vancouver, BC, Canada. The island is 35 miles long; the 4th longest and largest in the contiguous US. Access is by a ferry on the south end, and a bridge over Deception Pass on the north end. With miles of shoreline, thick forested areas, and several small towns, this feels a world away. With a vibrant arts community, unique shops and restaurants, theaters, coffee shops, vinyards and services, as well as lots of outdoor activities to choose from, you will find everything you need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Getting to Whidbey -Enjoy beautiful scenery while traveling to Whidbey Island. From the north, you will travel across the Deception Pass Bridge and from the south take the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton which is on the southern end of the island. Wine on Whidbey - Come enjoy food grown here paired with hand crafted wines from one of our many local wineries. Enjoy a winery tour, wine tasting classes, wine tasting rooms or participate in organized events such as "Red Wine & Chocolate" each February. The Whidbey Island Vintners Assoc. holds a "Savor Spring" each May, and "Autum Wine on Whidbey" in November. Our small family wineries welcome you!
Arts, Entertainment and Special Events - Our community is no doubt an artsy one. From live Theater at WICA or WCT, to the latest movies at the Clyde Theatre in Langley (popcorn is $1!); from comedy shows to ballet, orchestra, and musical and vocal groups, as well as presentations on all sorts of subjects!
